Mr. Kyriakos Farmakis is a Senior Consultant in the Management Consulting Department of Deloitte in Athens. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Informatics from the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) and a Master's degree (MSc) in Analysis, Design and Management of Information Systems from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
He has been previously employed by AUEB Research Centre as part-time Research Analyst and by Intrasoft International SA, a Greek software development and systems integration company based in Brussels, as Systems Analyst.
He specializes in the areas of IT (Information Technology) systems selection, requirements analysis, design, development and implementation and has good knowledge of the transportation sector (mainly Rail and Customs). He has served many clients both in the public and the private sector, in the context of large scale IT and IT-related projects. Clients recently served include Hellenic Ministry of Finance - Treasury, European Union - Directorate General for Taxations and Customs (DG TAXUD), National Recruitment Office of Greece (ASEP), Greek Railway Organisation (OSE) and A’ DYPE (Regional Health Authority of Attica).
As a Member of the Board of the Hellenic LSE Alumni Association, Kyriakos has led the initiative to create and maintain a website for the alumni association, for the first time since its foundation. He has been responsible for designing, overviewing the implementation and maintaining the website.
